Thank You Christian Acappella Music Awards

November 19922025

After more than three decades of celebrating faith, artistry, and shared devotion to worshiping God in song, this chapter is now coming to a close — and we close it with a heart full of gratitude.

Our Story

More Than An Awards Show

What began in November 1992 as a family-led effort to recognize and encourage singers, groups, songwriters, song leaders, and others who helped advance Christian a cappella music among the churches of Christ, grew into something far greater than we could have imagined.

CAMA was never simply an awards program. It became a gathering place — a celebration of faith, fellowship, sacrifice, artistry, and shared devotion to worshiping God in song. Through the years, we witnessed unforgettable performances, honored remarkable servants, encouraged emerging talent, and celebrated a musical heritage that has blessed congregations for generations.

The music does not end. The ministry does not end. The legacy does not end. The songs will continue in our congregations, in our homes, in our hearts, and in the generations yet to come.

🎵
Every Artist Who Sang
Your voice was an offering. Every performance, every note lifted in worship, left a permanent mark on this community and on countless lives.
✍️
Every Writer Who Composed
The songs you wrote will outlast any stage. They live in hymnals, in memories, in Sunday morning services — and in the hearts of God's people.
🏛️
Every Congregation That Attended
You traveled, you gathered, you worshiped together. Your presence transformed CAMA from an event into a holy reunion year after year.
🙌
Every Volunteer Who Served
Behind every spotlight was someone giving their time without applause. Your sacrifice made everything possible, and it has not been forgotten.
💛
Every Donor Who Gave
Your generosity was an act of faith — believing that celebrating God-given gifts in this community was worth supporting. We are eternally grateful.
🕊️
Every Preacher Who Stood With Us
To Jesse Tolliver, Wes Leonard, Corey Glover, Alvin Daniels, Charlie McClendon, and so many others — your affirmation fueled this vision forward.

CAMA existed because of a shared conviction: that the gifts God placed within His people should be encouraged, preserved, and celebrated in a manner that honors Him. For more than three decades, we sought to do that with sincerity and love.

To every person whose name should have been mentioned but was not — please accept our sincere apology. Your labor, kindness, support, prayers, and contributions have not been forgotten.

With deep gratitude and abiding love,
Aldanzo L. Pratt
